Wake Up to Singapore Election 2020

Singapore Election 2020 came at a challenging time (Phase 2). We are still in the midst of controlling pandemic (Covid19) and yet Election is 'push forward' in these trying times.

The election results are predictable on who's can form govt. nothing has changed for our election 2020, or is it?
The same PAP won with Super Majority (83 seats), WP with 10 seats.
61% win in votes for PAP vs opposition parties.
We know this is inevitable and we know PAP will form the government.

Is this our mandate to PAP as LHL mentioned? or wake-up call for PAP?

WP's results in this election is commendable. Most of the constitutions that they contested on is at least 40% winning votes.
I have nothing against PAP, except the high handed way of changing 'rules'.
e.g.
1) CPF life: why i should let you handle my money? i think i can do better with my own money. i should decide how i want to use it, not the govt. Even if any opposition parties wanted to freeze or keep them, i will oppose. You should give us option to opt in or out. I say again, that's my money!
 2) Presidency: wow, this is the most ridiculous 'rule'. We should be focusing on capability of candidates rather than confining the candidates based on race. Maybe next time, it will be religion, sex, age or whatever nonsense requirements. How can this be a fair and democratic citizen-elected President when criteria can be changed like women's changing clothes?
3) Using HDB upgrading or MRT/transport as a carrot in election. Do you mean that there will be no upgrading or better public transport if you are not elected? than i think you shouldn't be elected because you do not have a plan for Singapore or our estates.

As MP-elect, you should look after the well-being in your estate, and overall at national level. You might have your party manifesto but should form your own opinion on how the national level change will affect your estate as those staying in your estate. Your Estate citizens is No.1 priority.

It's a waste that Tan Cheng Bock (PSP) and Nicole Seah (WP) could not win in this election. Let's hope they will campaign in the next... but of course, if the candidates are 'nonsense' parties, you will never get my vote.

well-done to WP for winning Sengkang GRC. We know you couldn't do much in parliament but we (as citizens) wanted to give the incumbent a wake-up call. Wake-up Wake-up!!!
