Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Year 2006 is coming to an end... what a great year! news of my second baby is coming... shifted to a new home... my girl in montessori...new company name (not mine though)... Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happier New Year! may all your dreams be fulfilled and more to come in 2007. PS: not forgetting, if you are born in the year of Snake and Pig, don't take too much risks. work harder and don't be despair if you find 2007 a tough year.

buy new printer or new printer supplies

have you noticed that printer supplies can actually buy you a new printer? and the printer will come with warranty. the shaver blades that you bought in pack of 4s can actually get you a new shaver. better blade technology. the car perfume supplies you paid is more expensive than a car perfume container. why buy supplies when the new products are cheaper? you get better technology, functionalities and warranties. the only downside: TIME...to learn the new things, to do research on products, to get that better deal, etc. spare a thought, spare some time.

Does experience really grow with age? Part II

every event and everyday in our life is a new experience... or so? just open your eyes... be alert to the surroundings... you can be a better person. what has Microsoft event teaches us? how can their solutions become simpler yet works better for people? experience. throughout Bill Gates' times in Microsoft, they listen to people...their experiences... they try to adhere to requirements, demands and produce what they termed "Windows Vista".... let's hope it is what it is supposed to be. how does experience help? it ensures that you don't make the same mistake twice. it helps to improve your well-being. but there's a saying "a leopard never change its spot". the biggest challenge in life is family. how can we be always harmonious? never, but experience helps and it comes with age.

Generate more income for coming festivals!

i have been busy trying out auctions ( www.yahoo.com.sg/auctions ) to post items that i don't need. it seems to be taking effect. look for my id "soulz007". since Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year are along the way. i bet there are lots of things that you are disposing. why waste the effort of dumping away almost brand new clothings, furnitures, electronics equipment, etc. where you can get 'paid' for disposing them at auctions. if your things are real bargains, there will be genuine buyers. happy selling! wanna buy mine?

Does experience really grow with age?

it really depends on how and what type of life you want to live with..... -> quoted from Kelvin Lim i attended Microsoft Business Summit 2006 on the launch of Microsoft Vista (their new OS), Office 2007 and Exchange 2007. really exciting and intuitive....probably the biggest enhancements since Windows 95, then XP..... things are getting easier and more friendly....using phone to access emails, *blah, blah*... but one thing for sure, it will be tough for me to get them.... read on their hardware requirements. ..recommended 1GB RAM....crazy....i think 1GB is still not enuff. maybe 2GB or make it 4GB....if you really want intense performance and graphics....Microsoft was telling the audience that the product is developed to revolve around people not the other way round... really huh... i really wish to see a day where i can just pluck in my thumbdrive or memory/flash card and run my OS or applications off any TV or monitor...how nice... like last time where a floppy does all the work.

food glorious food (part 3)

family dinners happened for me almost every weekend. finding places for big family size like mine (at least 10 ppl) can be really a headache. top places to go for big families: 1) bottle tree village: this is really a secluded place located near sembawang park. if you travelled along the road to sembawang park (only one road), do not turn into the park instead keep to the road on the right and turn right when you see Andrews Ave. you will pass by Buckaroo's on your right (a similar food restaurant like Tony Roma's) <- worth a try but remember to make your reservation. travelling along this road, you will 'hit' some 'ulu' road and reach your bottle tree village (same thing, make your reservation). bottle tree serves chinese food, nice sea breeze and relaxing place. try the tofu with minced meat, red garoupa steamboat, pork ribs, etc. 2) lavender food court: probably the only hawker centre or food centre that has tables big enough for 10 persons... a variety of
