Energy for 28 Jun 2025 (Saturday)

Positive energy:  - completed Squid Game season 3. Yeah!  But the ending is lame.   - a good walk to Maxwell market and Tiong Bahru.  - uploaded a property for sale. Waiting for more to come.  Negative energy:  - dinner 天外天 was too full. Made me having headache and bloated.  - can I sustain without a full time job? Quote: sleeping and waking naturally is a luxury.   

Energy for 27 Jun 2025 (Friday)

Positive energy:  - felt good when I told boss that I am sick of sales and could quit if no job.  - squid game final season binge. It was better than season first half. Gna finished tomorrow.  Negative energy:  - unmotivated to follow up with deals.  - unmotivated by the 9 to 5 commission. Lol. Thought money is still needed.  Quote: sometimes, quitting is liberation. 

Energy for 21 Jun 2025 (Saturday)

Positive energy: - had a good discovery with chatgpt. Found out thag I could be burnt out. Great, I rem my last was during securecraft days.  - I hope to embark on a Do Nothing Traveler service.  Make it happen! Negative energy:  - doesn't feel like exercising. Wtf.   - felt caged in current situation.  Quote: the end is just the beginning.  

Energy for 29 May 2025 (Thursday)

Positive energy:  - mentoring PM wannabes - meeting partner who becomes friend - walking is one of the best exercise  Negative energy:  - my mind was damn tired.  - body drained - urge to quit job. Wtf.  Quote: quit when it is draining. 

Energy for 21 May 2025 (Wednesday)

Positive energy: - morning walk and night jog are fantastic.  - informed of changes in department and portfolio.  Negative energy: - still has some phlegm. This sickness.  - dilemma in taking Cloudflare or really continue with this job.  Quote: the decision is mine to make. 

Energy for 13 May 2025

Positive energy:  - 巴蜀food is good.  - Ma Maison shrimp tokatsu is nice - got to know that there are tons of remote jobs and overseas job offers that we can try.  Negative energy: - the cough and sore throat has been mild but disgusting  - knowing the salary increment is near impossible in this workplace.  - zero exercise makes my body lethargic

Regular job or Freelance or Part-time job?

We worked for $$$ to pay for our daily expenses, housing, kids' education, for that car, that luxury item, or the travel trips, etc. I have explained in my other postings.  If I have enough $$$ to fulfill all the above, do I still need to work? Should I go for the regular 9x5 job or start working as freelance (contract basis) or part-time (with short work hours)?  After a long 5-years working with current company as a regular employee, I decided that enough is enough. The mental tiredness is simply not worth the health risk. I didn't plan for the next job but wanted to take a break. Is it worth the risk of not having a next job before resigning? I don't have the answer for you, I need my time more than the work now.  I actually pre-empted my company way before my resignation, requesting them to quickly hire staff for me to handover but it seems that no action was taken unless you really resigned.  They are proposing that I stay to help in the transition and work on a...
