nature's way to good health

often (or as we grow older), we tried to find more and better ways to eat healthy, sleep early, exercise regularly... using moisturizer to protect out skin, anti-ageing cream to clear the wrinkes, hair growth products to aid in darker and healthier hair...

are they effective?

the recent ad with Jackie Chan as spokeperson for 霸王hair growth products brings credibility to the product... he said he tested the product and it worked!

i had been using this Loreal Men's anti-ageing cream and the 'lines' starts to disappear or minimise... been trying to eat less oil, less snacks, more fruits and drink more water... but have not been able to exercise regularly...

lately, i came across this book from Dr Tom Wu (吴永志医生), "不一样的自然养生法"... saw this doc at a Taiwan TV program... he has a unique way of living.

he was struck with 3rd stage of cancer at age of 30+... diagnosed with few months to live... undetered with the chemo and treatment to stay alive... he decided to change his way of living, his diet and lifestyle... within 9 months, he FULLY RECOVERED!

he is no GOD... 30 years after the cancer recovery, he decided on this book (after years of research and patient cases)...

his method requires some determination...

some tips from the book (still reading):
1) drink his method of juices (comprising mostly of vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc)... depending on whether you need to strengthen immune system, reduce high blood or high sugar, etc... at least 4 to 6 glasses per day... try to drink half hour before actual meal... try for 4 to 6 months.
2) drink a lot of 'clean / distilled' water.
3) clear bowels at least 3 times daily... if cannot be done, try to take high fibre powder to achieve that.
4) exercise at least 30 minutes (brisk walking) daily.
5) sun tan for 30 minutes daily.
6) half hour nap.
7) have hot and cold shower.
8) best time for body to recover ('building' body immune and repair system) is 10pm to 2am.

it's really a 'tall' list of tasks but i believe achievable. trying out point 1 to 4...
it will be easier if family members join in the 'fun'... at least my mother-inlaw and sister-inlaw are drinking the same juice ('strengthening and building immune system' juice).

start chewing organic linseed or flax seed...
