understand your soulz

I was on morning leave yesterday. As usual, I was waiting for the kids to wake up for our short family walk. It has been a long time when 4 of us are out for activities since Heightened Alert just lifted.  I chanced upon this meditation on guiding to meet your future self. OKayyy, since I haven't been meditating for a long while. The guide was pretty concise.  The vision at first blur becomes more vivid. The place, colour and the scene becomes clearer. I can see myself slightly aging with silver/gold rimmed specs. The mediation guided me to shake hands with my future self.  The rest of the description per picture.  I am very sure it was clearly overseas as I was in winter jacket, just couldn't point out exactly where. At first, I was thinking of Taj Mahal (some place that I really like to visit) but the structure looks different. Let's hope someday it appeared and I am revisiting this blog. 

I have never saw Tenet until very recently since it's released in early 2021.  The storyline was what I have written in my blog "The Sequence is Not Important"  dated 31 May 2020. <Spoiler Alert> Extract of what I have written:  "Are we living the past that the future is already written?  What if we are born for a mission? and what if death is a sign that our mission is accomplished?" Eerie, watch the movie if you have not.  Are we really living in the past where the future is already written?  Sounds demoralizing or sounds exciting? If you have not see the first section of "There is no FUTURE",  click here .  There are many movies or series or books out there that discuss on FUTURE.  My fav movie trilogy: Michael J Fox "Back to the Future" trilogy some profound series: "12 Monkeys"  another few movie to ponder: "Matrix" trilogy, "TENET", "Inception". even Marvel Avengers End Game.  Some tried to go back in time to alter their future, some realised that altering the past actually result in their current future, some thought that they are living in the present but actually there is no FUTURE, Some realised that their FUTURE is NOW and nothing can change it. So if there is no FUTURE, you may be wondering: why do I need to work so hard? why do I need to study so hard? why do I need to train like mad?  why do I need to earn so much?  Minus FUTURE from your equation, live in the present. What is Future?  Future is an imaginary word or rather imaginary life. It is a concept that keeps us alive.  We work hard hoping for earlier and better retirement life (that is future).  We eat better hoping to live a longer and healthier life (that is future).  We exercise and train hoping that we will not get sick (that is future). We study hard and learn a lot of things hoping that we can get better job, eat better and train more intelligently. (Isn't that the future too?) Religion, politics and capitalism are promoting the future too.  Different religions 'promote' the different way of life and also death. Build good deeds to have good karma. Do evil and go to hell. Believing in God to have a place in 'heaven'. Reincarnation after death. What makes us think that there is a place after death or a destination after death?  Politicians are 'busying' encouraging citizens to work for a better nation. That's for the nation, that's not for you.  Capital...

 as my previous meditation, i tried to go back to the past.  This time round, I read this section again and realised that I can move to the 'future', explaining as such... think about tomorrow, week after what you will do, months after, then maybe to your death and experience beyond...  I tried to go into meditation stance. thinking what i will do tomorrow, and so of the recurring yearly 'happenings' and then i kept 'seeing' this scene.  i am not sure if it is long woolen carpet or long grass, i moved my head around and only saw these long 'grass' or 'wool', all in grey... i tried a few times to move beyond this scene, but stuck.... and i stopped my meditation. I couldn't figure out what it was for few days.  and while mentioning this scene to a fren, i realised that it could be my death.... that's what i will see... just a thought....  One thing to note in meditation, never hang on to what you 'see'...

First day of 'release' from SG CB.  Nothing much has changed, except for kids going to schools.  And the fan replacement on my laptop can finally be done... run some errands for full mask on...  so getting used to mask... I don't feel safe without it outside my doorsteps. I still don't think it is safe in Phase 1... but lots are treating as outing.  Let's hope Phase 1 move out real soon to Phase 2 where we can dine out in small groups... (figures infected start to zero). But do we really need to dine out? Has eating at home become the NEW NORMAL?  Do we still need to socialise physically?  Welcome to the NEW FUTURE!  Mentality, mindset, thoughts has certainly changed from this pandemic (covid-19). We appreciate the nature better, skies are clearer and more vibrant, butterflies are roaming freely, weeds & grass growing wildly but definitely beautiful to sight.  Singapore, the Garden City is in full blossom now. What the hell does it mean?  It came from a dream and this sentence has been lingering even after I awake.  Happened few weeks back.  I read "Art of Work" and its about knowing your calling, answering to it and begin the apprenticeship.  Life would have gotten you to that track if we follow.  Then Steve Jobs Biography talked about him connecting those dots and living our lives, not someone else's. So this sentence in my dream got me going, uncovering more into our calling, our soul. In maths, the sequence is always important cos it applies logic. The only equation that sequence is not important or irrelevant is Pi (3.14.15xxxxxxx), endless stream but meaningless to many. Pi, the circle. Is this indicating to me that life is endless or cycle?  What if our life is a circle? What is the sequence about our life?  Is it trying to tell me that whatever we did is not important?
